TriCare Aged Care Residence

Construction of 4 level, 126 bed aged care facility.

TOTAL was proud to deliver TriCare’s flagship aged care residence in Williams Landing, Victoria.

This 4 level, 126 bed facility features both communal and private dining areas and lounges, a wine bar, in-house cinema and a glass conservatory.

The construction comprised a concrete and steel structure with post tensioned floor slabs with a mixture of stone, glass and sheet cladding external finishes.

All resident’s rooms have their own kitchenette with stone bench tops and feature fabric walls and high-end joinery finishes.

Residents are able to enjoy landscaped gardens, large terraced areas and relax in the conservatory accompanied by natural wildlife sounds and enjoy panoramic views towards the wetlands sanctuary.

A commercial grade kitchen and laundry services the facility.

Works commenced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Supply chain and labour shortages had a great impact on the program, however the client understood this and worked with TOTAL to get the project completed.

A prototype room was constructed in QLD where the client is based replicating what was to be built locally. This ensured the rooms were fully functional prior to construction commencing. This room also provided the quality benchmark expected by TriCare and TOTAL.
