Project Description
Total Special Projects delivered the construction of a new Multi-Purpose Building adjoining the existing Art Studio at HammondCare’s Caulfield Aged Care Community Village. The development enhances the facilities and services provided to the residents.
Total Special Projects has successfully collaborated with HammondCare on several previous projects in New South Wales (NSW) and Tasmania (TAS).
The project at HammondCare Miranda NSW, undertaken by Total Special Projects, was awarded the Master Builder’s Excellence in Construction in 2023.
Key Features
- We initially demolished sections of the west wall of the existing Art Studio and relocated existing in-ground services, including stormwater, drainage, and irrigation.
- The new Multi-Purpose Building is constructed with a steel frame on a concrete slab and features distinctive windows, cladding and brickwork on the external façade.
- New wet and dry fire services and data and security services were connected into the existing infrastructure
The Art Studio remained fully operational during the construction phase.
