Demolition of an existing 60 bed aged care facility and construction of a new 100 bed facility.

Simon Price mecwacare is a $31 million development, replacing the original 1970’s building with a luxurious 100-bed home with premium interior and exterior finishes. Facilities include personal, public and retail spaces designed for residents and their guests to enjoy such as a cinema, wine bar, library, well-being salon, light-filled dining areas, spacious bedrooms and suites with balconies offering sweeping views across Melbourne.

Whilst retaining an emphasis on the local surrounding, the project incorporated a combination of facing brick, render and glazing façade materials, using post tension reinforced concrete slab and AFS prefabricated wall system.

Consistent collaboration with our project partners and client mecwacare resulted in the construction and delivery of an exceptional project that is effectively making a positive difference for residents who call this centre home.
