Greystar Yeerongpilly

Total Construction has successfully delivered the Design and Construct of a warehouse development for Greystar.

The project involved base building works to provide a ‘fit-for-purpose’ development including warehousing, associated external pavement, car parking and landscaping. The site has a gross lettable area of 10,123m², including 9559m² of warehousing and 564m² of office space.

The main sewer line runs through the centre of the project. Gaining authority approval to build over the service proved a challenging task.

To mitigate the consequences of this delay, the project’s major bulk earthworks and footings have been completed on either side of the proposed sewer works.

As a Green Star project, several items have been implemented to meet targeted Green Star points, including upgraded filtration on mechanical filters, low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) paint, improved site office conditions and materials selection.

The project team has also offered value management items to the client such as the deletion of translucent sheeting.
