CONTRACT AWARD – TRICARE WILLIAMS LANDING AGED CARE RESIDENCE VIC

We take pride in building what are ultimately people’s homes.

For us, it is as simple as that… home is where our heart is.

Total is delighted to have been awarded the Construction Contract for TriCare’s Williams Landing Aged Care Residence.

This 4 level, (126 bed) facility will feature both communal and private dining areas and lounges, a wine bar, in-house cinema and a glass conservatory.

A commercial grade kitchen and laundry will service the facility. Residents will be able to enjoy landscaped gardens, large terraced areas and a potter in the greenhouse, as well as panoramic views towards the wetlands sanctuary.

The construction will comprise of a concrete and steel structure, the external finishes a mixture of stone, glass and sheet cladding. All residents’ rooms will have their own kitchenette with stone benchtops and feature fabric walls and high-end joinery finishes.

Total took a national business approach to provide TriCare with the confidence and security that we can deliver the project locally, with the support of a national board and executive team who will report to them.

Total’s Managing Director Steve Taylor says “this continues Total’s strategy to be a specialist in delivering Aged Care projects. We are delighted to welcome a new client on board as we continue to make a difference in people’s lives through excellence in construction”.

Guy Finnis, Total’s Victorian General Manager commented “despite an unsettling and challenging year, this win strengthens Total’s presence in the aged care sector. We’re excited to be involved in this venture with TriCare and look forward to delivering a residency that exceeds expectations”.
