Safety Spotlight | Stacked Farm
Celebrating National Safe Work Month at Stacked Farm
As part of National Safe Work Month, we’re proud to showcase the strong safety performance from our Stacked Farm project at Melbourne Airport – where strict compliance and coordination are critical to every task.
Highlights:
- 67,000+ hours worked
- 0 lost time injuries & medical treatment injuries
- 1,017 observations raised & closed
- 519 inspections completed
- 282 safety meetings & workshops held
Working within the Melbourne Airport precinct means adhering to rigorous safety and environmental protocols. Our team has done an outstanding job maintaining compliance while keeping productivity high.
Today, we held a site BBQ to show our appreciation to all subcontractors and site teams for maintaining excellent safety performance and a strong safety culture throughout the project.
And safety is not just physical, it’s mental too – Following the BBQ, Paul Walshe from Beyond Blue joined us to deliver a toolbox talk on mental health, focusing on the importance of checking in with your mates, recognising when someone might be struggling, and knowing where to reach out for support.
This achievement reflects the collective effort of the Total Construction team and our subcontractor partners – all sharing a risk-first mindset and commitment to safety that ensures every task is completed to the highest standard.
