Project Completion | HammondCare 'The Glens'
Total Special Projects is proud to have successfully delivered the staged refurbishment of HammondCare’s ‘The Glens’ aged care home in Caulfield, VIC.
This marks our second project delivered on this site, following the successful completion of a multi-purpose building to the Caulfield Village – a testament to the strength of our ongoing partnerships with HammondCare and Bickerton Masters.
The scope comprised:
- Refurbishment of internal spaces delivered across three stages
- Reconfiguration and refurbishment of new parlours and med rooms
- Installation of a new laundry and bin chute
- Upgrades to kitchen areas
- Transformation of back-of-house areas into open-plan mixed-use spaces
- Refurbishment of a maintenance office
- Construction of two new pergolas within the resident courtyard
Our team carefully planned and coordinated each stage to ensure minimal disruption to residents, staff and visitors – maintaining safety, dignity and continuity of care throughout the project.

It was all celebrations last Friday night, as TOTAL Queensland came away with the prestigious Master Builders Queensland Award in the category of Commercial/Industrial Building ($15-30m Brisbane) for our impressive StoreLocal Berrinba Self Storage project.
This past Sunday, TOTAL team members, along with their family and friends, came together at community locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to participate in Australia’s largest tree planting and nature care event: Planet Ark’s National Tree Day.
