Project Update | Storage King, St Albans
Construction is progressing well at the Storage King St Albans development, with the project team achieving several significant milestones as the building continues to take shape.
A major highlight was the successful completion of the final Level 3 suspended concrete slab pour last Friday, marking an important step in the delivery of the structure. With the concrete works advancing to final Ranch Slab, structural steel installation has now commenced on Level 3, maintaining strong momentum across the project.
Internally, works are also progressing well. Stud framing has commenced within the ground floor office, retail space and amenities, while services rough-in works continue throughout the building to support the next stages of construction.
The fit-out of storage units across all levels is underway, and externally, the painting of the precast concrete panels is progressing, bringing the facility closer to operational readiness.
The coordinated efforts of multiple trades and project partners have been instrumental in maintaining programme momentum and achieving these milestones safely and efficiently.
