Project Completion | Monash City Church of Christ
The Total Special Projects team in Victoria completed the conversion of a 700m² office into a flexible church environment for Monash City Church of Christ.
Located in Glen Waverley VIC, the space offers a 150-person worship and multi-purpose hall, complemented by a new foyer, community café, lounge areas, meeting rooms, kitchenette, children’s area and staff offices.
Total Special Projects completed the full internal fit-out, including:
- New partitions, glazing and joinery
- Upgrades to fire and electrical services
- Coordination, supply and commissioning of audiovisual systems
Delivered within an existing commercial building, the project required careful staging, coordination of service tie-ins and proactive management to minimise disruption to surrounding tenancies.
Early engagement with consultants and specialist trades ensured efficient integration of services and technology, resulting in delivery of a high-quality, functional and welcoming community space.
The project was delivered within a tight 10-week program, recording zero lost time injuries (LTIs) or incidents.

It was all celebrations last Friday night, as TOTAL Queensland came away with the prestigious Master Builders Queensland Award in the category of Commercial/Industrial Building ($15-30m Brisbane) for our impressive StoreLocal Berrinba Self Storage project.
This past Sunday, TOTAL team members, along with their family and friends, came together at community locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to participate in Australia’s largest tree planting and nature care event: Planet Ark’s National Tree Day.
