Project Specifications
Division of a single tenancy into 2 separate tenancies
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In order to capitalise on space, the building manager has requested that a 400m2 vacant tenancy be split into two.
Our team constructed acoustic walls to create two tenancies, a common area and travel pathway to existing exits. Additional glazed partitions created a foyer area.
We performed minor demolition works of existing partitions and the removal of 25 workstations, along with alterations to the existing lighting infrastructure.
New mechanical vents and sprinklers were installed to suit the new configuration as well as the installation of a new sub-board to allow separate metering.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Like all fit out projects within live environments, particular attention was paid to the programming of any noisy and/ or intrusive works outside of standard office hours.
Keeping all communal areas clean and tidy and ensuring materials were transported correctly was paramount.
