Renovation of AeroPearl’s air hangar and office.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project was completed in two stages, comprising:

Stage One: Equipment Store and Engineering Workshop. Starting with the removal and relocation of services, including the removal of the shipping container, air compressors and air conditioning as well as demolition and clearing of other items to provide a clean field for civil works to commence.

Civil works comprised pad cutting and detailed excavation for the installation of re-routed stormwater lines, followed by framing and installation of the required reinforced footings and concrete pour.

Following this, we relocated the Avionics Area, ensuring that the facility remained operational.

Stage Two: Main Office Renovations. The internal main office renovation was completed by dividing the works into three sections to separate the construction team from AeroPearl working areas and staff.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES

Working in a live facility, the main challenge was to ensure little or no impact on the continuity of the operations.
