Base building structure and services for a beer brewing house
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Total Construction has been awarded the contract for the construction of a base building structure and services integration for a beer brewing house for BrewPack.
The works comprise the demolition of existing slabs, supply and installation of underfloor drainage, completion of structural flooring and epoxy surfaces. There are also some external roadworks, construction of retaining walls and metalwork.
It is imperative that we maintain program, despite late client instigated design changes to ensure that the clients pre-booked fit-out contractors who will be travelling from Germany are not delayed in commencing installation.
The facility must be operational by August 2018.
BrewPack is a 100% family owned Australian contract beverage manufacturer who brew and package for a variety of beer, cider, ‘Ready to Drink’ and non-alcoholic beverage brands.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Maintaining the tight program and ensuring that works are completed prior to the fit-out works commencing is our priority. We have allocated to two Site Foreman to ensure the smooth running of all works.
