Construction of a two-storey specialist medical facility and associated ground level car park
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Total Construction has been awarded the contract to construct a new 2-storey specialist medical centre in Yarrabilba, approximately 60km south of Brisbane.
The base build comprises concrete slab and columns, structural steel and a variety of wall claddings. The building footprint is approximately 1720m2
The medical fit out of the centre is currently being finalised.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
To assist the client meet agreement obligations, we have negotiated an Early Works package to kick start works and allow the client time to secure the required funding for the balance of the project.
Originally tendered in July 2018, Total has worked with the client in making the project feasible through a series of negotiations, investigating staging options and value management cost saving initiatives.
