Heathcote Health

Total Construction was awarded the contract for the construction of Heathcote Health’s new Community Health Hub. Located in Heathcote, a town in central Victoria on the Northern Highway 110kms North of Melbourne, Heathcote Health is a public hospital funded by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, and the Commonwealth Department of Social Services. The centre provides acute and urgent care to the local community, as well as aged care and community care.

The scope of the project included construction of a new purpose-built Community Health Hub and extension to the existing aged care building and car parking. This was Total Construction’s first project with Heathcote Health and fourth project working with superintendent NS Projects.

The project has allowed us to further develop our presence in the region, offering the opportunity to form longer-term relationships with local trades and suppliers. Beyond delivering a quality, fit-for-purpose build, we focused on getting to know the people and businesses in the area with the aim of working together again down the track. We were committed to building trust, being easy to work with and becoming a part of the local network for future projects.
