Total Construction would like to pass on our thanks to all who had managed to take time out of their busy day to join us at our Edensor Park NSW Project, and participate in our BBQ to raise awareness of this very real issue of suicide within the construction industry.
All the money raised from this important event will help to change the lives of those who struggle with their mental health, and to provide extended support to their family and friends.
Mates in Construction are there to provide assistance, as there are currently 190 deaths within the industry each year.
We encourage everyone to not be afraid to reach out to a co-worker or family member. If you feel uncomfortable to share how you’re feeling with someone you know, please reach out to the National helpline on 1300 642 111.
Be kind to each other, you never know when your kind words could make a difference to someone.
