StoreLocal Berinba

This project is our first collaboration with StoreLocal. Leveraging our extensive self storage expertise from the outset, StoreLocal Berrinba boasts a well-proportioned and efficient design, where self-storage space was maximised without compromising functionality or accessibility.

A commanding presence, StoreLocal Berrinba spans over four levels, achieving a 66% space utilisation rate. Equipped with two goods passenger lifts for convenient movement of belongings, the facility caters to diverse customer needs. Features include working spaces, interactive customer service kiosk and spacious storage units suitable for larger equipment.

TOTAL’s development of innovative solutions and meticulous planning ensured smooth progress, when unique challenges were presented. This included detailed lift studies for optimal crane placement, strategic concrete pump positioning to navigate space constraints and innovative traffic management strategies to minimise cost and disruptions. Further to this, the decision to switch from a precast façade to Askin Volcore panels during the design phase also facilitated an efficient and safer construction process.

Taking the leap into full automation and smart hardware solutions, StoreLocal Berrinba emerged as Australia’s largest remotely managed and monitored storage facility. With 24 hours a day, 7 days a week access and an interactive kiosk facilitating bookings, StoreLocal Berrinba customers enjoy unparalleled convenience and peace of mind.
