PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Total Construction undertook Design & Construction of a high-care food manufacturing facility, including construction of the facility within an existing warehouse at Kingsgrove, in a very short time frame. It had to meet the highest food standards and finishes to enable the client to produce high quality products.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Time was of the essence to the client. Challenges to program included the supply and provision of a major power upgrade within an out-of-reach time frame, additional statutory requirements imposed by Council at a very late stage on project, and the introduction of a 200,000L fire tank towards the end stages.
To overcome project challenges, Total Construction worked a seven-day working week with extended hours roster. This approach also ensured there was minimal to no interruption to the client’s production.
