Construction of a new two-storey early learning centre
This project comprised the construction of a two-storey early learning centre with a bespoke, high end finish both internally and externally. The facility has been built around a protected Liquid Amber tree which adds to the uniqueness of the upper level play areas and incorporates a natural theme with beautiful wooden flooring and finishes throughout the centre.
The whole facility caters for 171 children and infants.
Construction included for basement car parking and landscaping infrastructure works. The design incorporated aesthetic use of Colorbond, alucobond, brick veneer and rendered and vertical clad walls. A lift services all levels, including the basement car park.
The centre boasts open learning and play areas which benefit from an abundance of natural light, an in-house commercial grade kitchen and laundry.
This is our fourth project with Kassnik having recently completed their third facility in Malvern, and our third project with Perkins Architects.
Liaison with our key sub-contractors ensured that the project was delivered with the expected ‘wow’ factor which has become synonymous with the clients’ facilities.
