Collegians Junior Rugby League Club

The resurfacing of the Collegians Junior Rugby League Club car park in Warwick was an initiative of Total Construction to help support local organisations in the Warwick community where we are currently delivering the new Churches of Christ Aged Care facility in Dragon Street.

The Collegians Junior Rugby League Club in Warwick was in desperate need of a refurbishment to their car park, as it was full of pot-holes, uneven and was a hazard to pedestrians and the vehicles that braved the car park.

Richard Edwards (Total Project Manager) and Dave Browne (Total Site Foreman and Warwick local) met with Deb Scanlan, President of the Collegians Junior Rugby League Club to establish the scope of work and discuss the budget needed to carry out the works. This was then covered by contributions from Total Construction, local subcontractors and suppliers.

Dave worked with our local excavation company (Con Ryan) and Warwick Sand & Gravel to get the best bang for our buck. Con Ryan agreed to donate his machinery and labour free of charge and Warwick Sand & Gravel provided discounted supply rates for the materials to assist with the project.

Together, we managed to achieve a great outcome for the club and its patrons, young and old, by working with these local companies. The end product is a freshly surfaced car park that the club and all who made it happen can feel proud.
