Project Update | Angel Storage Lidcombe
Progress Update from Lidcombe's Newest Self Storage Development
Momentum is building at our Angel Storage Lidcombe project, with excavation works well underway on this expansive 6-storey self storage facility on Parramatta Rd.
The team has made excellent progress, with all three lift pits and all four stair cores excavated, and pit footings and walls currently being formed and poured up to the lower ground level slab.
Civil stormwater installation for the lower flood stroage basement floor area has also been completed, connecting into the lead-out pit on Parramatta Rd. Spoil from the excavation has been efficiently contained on site and will be reused for backfilling the lift pits and under the suspended office and sprinkler tank slab areas.
The site compound will remain in place until the main structure is complete, then will be relocated to allow installation of the new mezzanine entry ramp next year.
Looking ahead, the focus will move into detailed excavation of footings to the lower basement, followed by blockwork retaining walls with slab on ground preparation and pours leading into Christmas.
