We’re excited to share a milestone moment in our journey! In 1994, TOTAL embarked on our first Self Storage building project, a collaboration with Kennards Self Storage, in Erina NSW. The success of this build paved the way for over 100 projects across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, and SA, solidifying a strong partnership with Kennards Self Storage.
Today, we’re thrilled to announce that TOTAL has been awarded the contract to revitalise a component of Kennards Self Storage facilities at the Guildford, NSW site. This project also reinforces our enduring partnership with MCHP Architects.
The upcoming new three-storey building will boasts 360 storage units and include a passenger lift, enhancing accessibility and convenience.
Demolition has been completed. Impressively a staggering 95% of the materials removed from the site have been sorted and separated for recycling. These range from green mulch to crushed rock used as a road base. Furthermore over 40 tonnes of steel were taken to metal recycling services to be melt down and reformed for reuse.
The final construction will incorporate advanced building materials and techniques, including an AFS wall system, ensuring durability and aesthetic curb side appeal to compliment the existing frontage structure.

This past Sunday, TOTAL team members, along with their family and friends, came together at community locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to participate in Australia’s largest tree planting and nature care event: Planet Ark’s National Tree Day.
