Tip Top Bakeries Project - Newcastle - December 2008

Total Construction was awarded the Tip Top Bakeries Newcastle project (Project Coyote) to upgrade a brown field site bakery during a 3 month plant shutdown in early 2009. Contract value is approximately $5m, so as you can image, the program is extremely aggressive and the works complex. Total Construction will manage up to 7 separate work areas/projects simultaneously on the bakery site in conjunction with the client removing, upgrading and installing new bakery process equipment to manufacture 8,000 loaves of bread per hour. CFSPM project- Adelaide - December 2008

Total Construction Adelaide is delighted to have been awarded another contract with Colonial First State Property Management.
The project is for an upgrade to an existing food court with feature graphics, painting, signage, and external eating and sitting areas. The location of the project is in the ANZ Building, Weymouth Street, Adelaide.
The approx. value is $750K and work is due to commence in January 2009.

Revesby Workers Club

Revesby Workers Club in western Sydney and one of the states largest clubs has awarded Total Construction a $6 million contract to construct a 90 place Childcare Centre and a Interim Fitness Centre.  
Commenting on the contract, the managing director, Steve Taylor said that the club business was an important new market for Total Construction which would be complimented by the recently launched Food & Beverage Division, already making its mark in that segment.
 

Mount Liyldale Mercy College - VIC - October 2008

Total Construction Victoria is delighted to have been awarded the works at Mount Lilydale Mercy College, Lilydale. The project is in conjunction with architects Smith & Tracey.

The project is for the construction of a new Design & Technology Building. Our winning tender was for $4.5m and the College are keen for us to start as soon as possible.
 

AMP Principal Healthcare - NSW & SA - September 2008

Principal Healthcare, a subsidiary of AMP has awarded a second contract worth $2 million to Total Construction for Design and Construction of 2008 Certification Compliance and Marketability Works at 7 Aged Care Centres throughout New South Wales and West Australia. 
The works are to be substantially completed by December 31 2008 to meet the Commonwealth Government’s timetable and requirements for 2008 standards for nursing homes.  

Aldi Store Fitout - Broadmeadows, VIC - August 2008

Total Construction Victoria have been awarded the simultaneous fitout of the Aldi Store currently being reconfigured at Broadmeadows Shopping Centre.
The fitout is valued at $1.1m with work starting immediately.

Total Construction wins M.B.A.V Excellence in Construction Award

Total Construction has been awarded the coveted Excellence in Construction Award for a Commercial Building under $5m at the recent M.B.A.V Awards night. The award was for the D&C gymnasium and auditorium project at Marcellin College.
On accepting the award, manager Adrian Seymour spoke of the importance of working with a great team of people from the staff through to the client.

Broadmeadows Shopping Centre - Victoria - May 2008

Colonial First State Property Management has awarded Total Construction the contract for the creation of two new tenancies at the Broadmeadows Shopping Centre. The new tenancies will be occupied by Aldi and Dick Smith.
The design starts immediately with construction expected to commence in the first week of July.
The project is valued at $2.7m.

Food & Beverage Division

Total Construction forms a new business with the appointment of Colin Willis as General Manager - Food & Beverage Division.

Colin will focus the Food & Beverage Division on providing turnkey design and construct engineering solutions with single point accountability to our clients, complimenting the existing construction services provided by Total to our current Food & Beverage clients including Coca Cola Amatil, Cadbury Schweppes and Ingham’s Enterprises.

Myer Centre - Adelaide - March 2008

Colonial First State has awarded Total Construction a $4 million design & construct contract for the reconfiguration of the Rebel Sports Tenancy and other upgrade works in the Myer Centre.  Work involves the review of the design development works, providision of buildability advice, construction and fit out of the redeveloped centre, consolidation of the existing Rebel Sports tenancy on to the Promenade level, new escalators from Rundle mall, the reconfiguration of Terrace level shops and the refurbishment of the food court.
Work will commence immediately and is scheduled to be complete by mid January 2009.
